Hello Wonderful Readers!
So – Day 4 of our March Blog Challenge, and I thought how about we do a status update on my “Can Dos” from the first of the year!
Here is just a refresher of what my “Can Dos” were:
- Post in this blog at least 1 time a week
- Eating Healthier
- Move More
- Be Honest/True to Myself
OK, so for the first one, well – I haven’t been as good about posting here as I would have like to. However, it is my hope that with this blog challenge, I can whip myself into gear so that posting once a week will be easy, compared to posting every single day.
Eating Healthier – this one does have it’s moments of being really hard to stick with, but I love looking through Pinterest and finding really great recipes to try out, and they are really really good – I’m hoping to post one in the upcoming week!
Move More – another hard one, but I said I wanted to try to hit the goals that my Fitbit has, and with working at a desk all week, it was really hard to make the 10,000 step goal. So, based on my average steps for the day I set myself a goal of 7,500 steps a day, and i have had at least 1 or 2 days a week where I hit that number. My goal is to hopefully have at least 4 days a week where I hit that goal, and once I have achieved that, then I will bump the number up a little higher!
Finally, being honest/true to myself. This is still a work in progress, and not something that I can fix with anything quick. Of course, being true to oneself is never easy, but the best thing to do when you are trying to work on yourself is to surround yourself with the people who will push you to be the best version of yourself, and encourage you to step outside your comfort zone to find yourself and define yourself.
