My Dream Wedding – Part 2

ok – Here comes part 2 – a little late, but better late than never! 🙂

In Part 1 I talked about the venue. Going back I noticed that I talked about the venue for the ceremony but not for the reception. To be honest I have a few ideas for the dream weeding location, but to be honest I still go back and forth on things for the reception venue. So, for part two we are going to move on from the venue and talk about my bridal party. Now, for the bridal party I am going to talk about a few of the dresses that I have seen, as well as some really great ideas that I have found for bridal party gifts. I of course will not be telling you which bridal party gift I would do, because that would ruin the surprise for those ladies that I have in mind for my bridal party 🙂

Let’s start with the dresses, now I don’t know about you but one of the things that I love most about my girls that are in my life is that we all come in different shapes and sizes, we are each unique in our own way, and it is the differences in our personalities that make us a perfect crew. Keeping this in mind, I have always looked at dresses that will look great on anyone, and no – I will not be that stereotypical bride who makes her bridal party wear hideous dresses so she can look better, I also made the decision a long time ago that I would not make my girls wear these gaudy monstrosity dresses that they will never wear again. I want them to feel comfortable, and be able to wear these dresses again.

For my bridesmaids, working with the color scheme of Emerald, Ivory, and Gold, they would be in emerald dresses. Here are two dresses that I have fallen in love with, but it may change depending upon styles at the time (if the time comes) that I get married.

I like the love the silhouette of these dresses, and the ability they have to work with every body type.

As for my maid of honor, she will be in gold with an emerald sash. That style, I haven’t found any that I like enough to post… however, when it comes to my flower girl… well, take a gander at these ADORABLE dresses!

I will be honest, if any of these three dresses came in adult sizes that fit me, and i had the money for them, they would be in my closet!

Have you already gotten married, are getting married soon, or just like to think about that day? What were the bridal party dresses like? I would love to know, so comment below or message me – I’d love to hear from you!

Till part 3… keep dreaming!

❤ Cathy
